Your images are printed as full spreads on a single sheet of premium archival paper, so the image flows across both pages without a break in the middle.

The edges are trimmed so every spread lines up perfectly when the album is closed.

Each spread is mounted to a rigid board backing. That is what gives your pages their thick, substantial weight when you turn them.

The mounted pages go into a hydraulic press to bond completely flat with zero air pockets.

A person flips through every single page to confirm the alignment and the order are right. If anything is off, the pages get remade.

Your leather, in the color you chose, is hand selected by Lori, who has been doing this long enough to know exactly what to look for.

She works from a full hide and cuts around any imperfection, so the piece that becomes your cover is flawless.

Adhesive is applied to the leather.

The leather is scored so the glue grips deeper and the cover never lifts or separates over time.

Rigid boards are set into place to build the hard cover structure.

The spine is sized specifically to your album, based on how many images you chose.

The leather edges are wrapped and glued to the back boards.

Every corner is hand pleated. This is the step that separates a real heirloom album from a mass produced photo book.

Your finished pages are bound into the cover.

The album is inspected one final time, then boxed and shipped in the same warehouse by the same people who made it, so no one at UPS or FedEx ever sees your images.

Your image is printed on premium photographic paper.

The acrylic block is inspected for dust, cracks, and chips before anything is bonded to it.

Your print is bonded to the back of the block and pressed to force out any air.

It is inspected again for bubbles.

The piece goes into a hydraulic press to fully seal.

A final inspection confirms the surface is perfectly clear.

The edges are trimmed and finished.

Your block is done and ready to display.

Your image is printed onto a specialized transfer paper. That paper is built to release its ink under heat, so it is never meant to be the finished product.

The metal is cut on site in the print facility, starting from an eight foot sheet.

The panel is inspected and wiped clean, because anything left on the surface would be locked in permanently.

The transfer paper is pressed face down onto the metal.

The whole thing goes into a press, with a linen sheet laid over the top to shield it from direct heat.

The paper is peeled away while the panel is still scorching, and at that moment your image is part of the metal itself.

The panel is measured for its backing.

The backing is mounted, which floats your piece off the wall and gives it that clean, dimensional look.

If you chose a frame, it goes on last.
